I am currently an A level geography student, and it is my ambition to study geography at university. Starting this blog has been on my mind for a while now, and I finally decided to take the leap.
I don't know about other A level geography students, but I have spent far too long scrolling through Google searches to try and find resources that just don't seem to exist. What I am hoping to do with this blog is create a site where A level geography students can find factually correct information collated all in one place.
I am studying the WJEC exam board in school, so all exam board specific detail might not be included but I will try my best to include exam board specific details. I will also not be including case studies unless it is vital to understand concepts, as nearly all schools have different case studies that they do.
I will just be covering the topics that I have learnt or will be learning in school, as I need to ensure that all information is correct and through self teaching myself the topics this is not guaranteed. I will be looking for A level geography students past or present to help me cover the topics that I do not learn in school and I will give any contributors full credit for their work where it is due.
The topics I have covered or will cover in school are listed below, and if you can help contribute to any other topics please send me an email: alevel.geography.online@gmail.com
The topics I study:
- AS Glaciated Landscapes
- AS Tectonic Hazards
- AS Changing places
- A2 China
- A2 Global Governance of the Earth's Oceans
- A2 Global Governance Change and Challenges
- A2 Water and Carbon Cycles
- A2 Ecosystems
